The PVM1 is a universal solid (non‑inflatable) bow/stern/swim‑platform fender made by Ocean Fenders. It is designed to protect vulnerable parts of a boat (bow, stern, swim platform, docking points) from impacts and abrasion.
Made from Flexible integral PU ("polyurethane”) skin foam. This is a closed‑cell, solid foam material with an integral skin (tough outer surface). It provides good shock absorption, resistance to water, abrasion, and UV exposure. Because it is solid foam, it cannot deflate, which reduces maintenance and risk of failure under pressure or puncture. Surface finish is UV‑ and abrasion‑resistant.

To attach - Has two through‑holes with nylon fibre reinforced bushes for strength. These allow secure attachment, e.g. with lanyards or lines. The design is "universal” meaning it can conform reasonably well to different bow shapes, and be used at the bow, stern, swim platform, or as a dock/jetty fender.
